From the kitchen to the gardens, the Olmsted experience is enhanced by the many hands that work behind the scenes.  All of our staff contribute in unique ways to Olmsted's mission to provide sacred space for renewal in an atmosphere of Christian hospitality.
​On June 8, 2026, we welcomed two new Directors to the leadership team. 

Director of Operations, Rev. Jerrad Peterman

​Jerrad is a lifelong Western Pennsylvania native with deep roots in the region. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting) from Clarion University. After graduation, he sensed God's call to ministry, a journey that led him to The Methodist Theological School in Ohio, where he earned his Master of Divinity before returning to Western Pennsylvania to serve in ministry.
 
Jerrad is married and they have one daughter. Jerrad enjoys spending time outdoors, especially fishing and target shooting. Although he has not hunted in many years, he still appreciates time in nature. He also loves being on, in, or near the water during every season, and he and his wife are looking forward to spending more time kayaking together.
 
Jerrad considers it a privilege to serve at Olmsted Manor Retreat Center, where he enjoys welcoming individuals and groups seeking rest, renewal, and a deeper relationship with Christ. He is passionate about creating an environment of Christian hospitality where guests can encounter God's presence, experience God’s peace, and leave refreshed for the journey ahead.

​Becky Plummer is a wife, mother, Mimi, and follower of Christ who is passionate about hospitality, encouragement, and helping others experience God's rest, renewal, and love. She has served for many years as an executive director of a Christian outreach ministry, where she led programs and initiatives focused on serving others and strengthening communities.
 
In addition to her ministry experience, Becky has worked as an event coordinator and business owner, bringing creativity, organization, and a heart for service to every endeavor. Whether planning meaningful gatherings, supporting ministry outreach, or welcoming guests, she is dedicated to creating spaces where people feel valued, encouraged, and inspired to grow in their faith.
