Fund Development Training II

Olmsted Manor Retreat Center, in partnership with The United Methodist Foundation of the Western Pennsylvania Conference, will offer two trainings this spring for church and nonprofit leaders. The two events will offer in-depth training in fundraising, development planning, and building your constituency.
Abundant Resources for Ministry with Dr. Amanda Stewart, held June 13-15, 2021, will focus on the skills of fundraising management and development. Gain insight from an expert in nonprofit management and grant writing.

Amanda J. Stewart is an associate professor in the Dept. of Public Admin at North Carolina State University. Mandi teaches masters and doctoral courses in nonprofit management, fund development, and grant writing. Her research centers on nonprofit organizations, including leadership continuity, career development, and organizational capacity.  Mandi serves on the editorial board of Nonprofit Management and Leadership in addition to being a reviewer for other scholarly journals.
Mandi has more than ten years experience working in nonprofit organizations ranging from small, local efforts to large, international organizations, and continues to actively engage with the sector.  Mandi has her Master’s degree in social work (macro focus) from Boston College and her Bachelor’s in business administration from Birmingham-Southern College. She received her PhD from the Department of Public Administration and Policy at American University’s School of Public Affairs.
