Olmsted has been blessed with a history of people who have taken a strong and heartfelt interest in the work of Olmsted Manor Retreat Center.  Volunteers have helped in many different areas of service.  The spirit of 'giving back' reflects the history of this place.  Recently Olmsted has co-chartered a boy scout troop, continuing an interest begun in the days of George Olmsted.
