It's time to celebrate! Marriage is the most precious relationship we can have with another person. You and your spouse are invited to celebrate the blessings God has provided through your marriage while you enjoy the tranquility and hospitality of Olmsted. Rev. Eric and Tara Park will lead a few fun activities to help you engage with other couples, but the focus of the weekend will be relaxation and time away with your best friend. Enjoy sleeping in or watching the sunrise on the deck, delicious brunch, time to explore the forest or local attractions, a romantic Valentine's dinner, and live musical entertainment by the Parks.
Retreat Leaders

Eric and Tara Park met in 1986 when they were both students at Dickinson College. Cast as romantic leads in the college musical, their first kiss was on stage. The rest is history. Tara and Eric believe that the best day of their lives was January 18, 1992, when together they entered the covenant of marriage. They love to read, laugh, travel, and go to movies. And, since neither of them cook, a good restaurant is always one of their favorite places.
Tara was born and raised in Hermitage, PA. She discovered her love for music while growing up in the church where she would frequently sing solos and play piano during worship services. Tara has a BA in history and is employed by 84 Lumber where she works full time as a Vice President of Talent Management. She feels that her deepest calling is to help people to worship God through music.
Eric Park spent his childhood and youth in three western PA towns (Washington, Grove City, and Indiana). He learned to read with a Bible in one hand and a comic book in the other. He wrote his first song in ninth grade and has been doing his best to create music ever since. Eric has a BA in English literature, a Master of Divinity degree from Duke University Divinity School, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Drew Theological School. Eric is an ordained pastor in the United Methodist Church and is currently serving the church as a District Superintendent.
