the 2012 Retreat for Older Adults

This event begins with dinner at 5:30 on Monday, July 23, continuing through lunch on Friday, July 27.

Remember the Beverly Hillbillies? We reckon its time to pay a visit to ol' Jed and his kinfolk: Granny, Ellie May, and Jethro.

During this retreat we will think about the theme "Kindness and Generosity" as we consider the wisdom of 2 Corinthians 9:6: "Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly and whoever sows generously will also reap generously."

Bill and Lois Hiles will be your hosts during the week. Since retirement Bill and Lois have spent much of their time in Port Orange, Florida and welcome the chance to return to Pennsylvania where Bill served many years as a pastor in the Western PA Conference of the United Methodist Church. Dana Hiles will be leading the Bilble Study. Dana is the Pastor at Harmon Creek Community Church and Family Life Coordinator at Carnegie United Methodist Church. Velva Hildebrand will return as the Music Director for the retreat.

Plan to arrive and register: between 3 and 5pm, July 23.
