Our Staff, Our Board of Directors & Our Supporters Who makes the work of Olmsted Manor possible?
From the kitchen to the gardens, the Olmsted experience is enhanced by the many hands that work behind the scenes. Our staff, the board, visitors and supporters all contribute to Olmsted's mission: " . . .a retreat center providing renewal within a sacred space
and an atmosphere of Christian hospitality."
The Olmsted staff is headed up by Jody Larson, Executive Director, and includes those who work in the kitchen, the cleaning crew, the facilities management, summer workers, and the office staff.
The Olmsted Board of Directors is a 22 member board. Meeting as a full board four times a year, and more often in committees, these people help steer the programs, brainstorm new directions, and seek to grow, enhance and preserve the mission of Olmsted Manor. The members serve four year terms and work on various committees in their areas of interest and expertise including: Finance, Programming, Property, Personnel and Marketing.
